Philip Theibert

Philip Theibert is a third-generation baseball coach, the author of 9 books (including 2 collections of baseball poetry), and teaches creative writing and inspirational speaking. For him, baseball is a lifelong love and a family affair. He was a bat boy when his father coached a college team and a coach when his daughter played college softball.  

Philip believes the hypercompetitive nature of travel baseball and softball has blinded parents and children from the beauty of the game and what is most important about it.
